Roasted Brussels Sprouts


A life-long hatred of Brussels sprouts ended because of this method of preparing them

Time: 30 mins.

1 1/2 pounds fresh Brussels sprouts, trimmed and cut in half

1/4 cup olive oil

1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt

1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

2 Tbs. balsamic vinegar

Preheat the oven to 375°F.

Toss all ingredients together in a large bowl, making certain the vegetables are well coated.

Arrange sprouts in a single layer on a 15x10x1-inch baking sheet.

Roast for 15 minutes, then remove from oven and turn the sprouts over with a spatula.

Return the Brussels sprouts to the oven for an additional 10 minutes until they are lightly browned.
